Fr. Murray also includes a brief essay entitled “Helps for Prayer” that contains some constructive advice for a better prayer life. He notes, for example, that you don’t have to be St. Thomas Aquinas or some other great theologian when you approach God. Just give Him some special time in prayer each day listening to Him as well as speaking! All in all this is a very valuable and yet accessible collection of material to help us all on the road to Eternal Life!
